  • So i spent some money

So yesterday i went into town, with some money, and $500 later came home with this.

    I love it.

I think its the fastest i have spent $500, i went into the shop and after 20 mins walked out with it. my guvnor distortion took me an hour and a bit to two hours to buy, and that only cost a hundred. I got a $590 paycheck from work, and since i have paid off my 70-200 now, it seemed like a suitable way of making me have no money. I just had my first real play around with it, and love it soo much. Muff Fuzz + Bottom Boost and use the expression pedal for +1 Octave, sounds freaking great!

          A Boss ME-50B
Which is 'bass multiple effects' (hope you can read that from the photo)

It basically adjusts how my sound is, from basic adjustements like adding more bass, trebble or mid by a pedal (saving me frmo adjusting it on my bass mid tune) to more serious effects like adding distortion, synths, phasers, delay, reverb. At most I can have 5 effects going, 4 of which are controlled by pedal and can be turned off at any time allowing me to have different effects in different parts of the song im playing.

I've had a play with that unit, but I'm not much of an effects player really. Me being a bit of a purist (and not needing effects for the stuff I play of course), I prefer my beloved G&L L2500 to go into my TL Audio 5051 valve pre-amp then direct into the rig.

            Hope you enjoy it though!
