    Hang on..

Didn't the Nissan Skyline GTR Godzilla annihilate all the V8's at Bathurst ?
Any doubters go back in history to when Godzilla owned the mountain and check the handicaps that CAMS made it run...and it still won even if it was only one race !

I know this doesn't really compare to a Ford Cobra though at least it had the Muscle not to need a bonnet scoop , roof scoop , spoilers or any other aerodynamic rice technology

Skyline Godzilla and V8 technology from the 70's is vastly different, Godzilla took a ferrari too if i remember rightly, but back in the 80's the XC coupe took a lambourghini and left it in the wake.

I remember a Top Gear not so long ago where they raced a factory setup Evo around the track with a Ferrai. Evo was all over the Ferrai, was pretty neat.

It's all about the money. If you go dollar for dollar, A Subaru WRX sti is a much better car for the money.... That new Corvette is pretty amazing too.... Handing out beat downs to other supercars for 70 grand? Book me on that flight, Sweet-Heart!!!

              Amen to that!...

There's not many road cars that you can buy second hand for not much over £15,000 (approx $30,000) with a 2.5litre turbo charged engine putting out 293bhp, topping out at 160mph, that launches from 0-60mph in just under 5 seconds and that's full time symmetrical AWD.

An absolute bargin for what you're getting, especially as you'd be giving the majority supercars (Lambos, Ferraris etc etc) a very good run for their money from the lights!...

Thought of course... it's not all about racing

Is the STi able to keep up with the corvette to 160? If so I under estimated the STi.. A 4 cylinder I would think would kind of struggle at top end? Also 3 shifts to get to 60 is kind of annoying..

I would still say that Veyron or even a Murcielago would be WRX and Cobra and even Skyline. But I guess I'm wrong lol....

the Veyron would beat them all...except the cessna 182 so long as it's flown by a night rated pilot.

I can't remember the reason for that but he also wasn't allowed to night fly...one of the main reasons he lost.

Due to the high terrain if I'm not mistaken.

                                Cheers,
