              Those zigzag lines are for the drivers to know there are people crossing the road; Hong Kong have them too.

                    But I wondered which is the original "correct side" on the road?
                    I mean it was the british who were to colonize a large part of the world, setting outposts everywhere. So when USA declared independance from the British in 1787, americans started to drive on the right side? I dont know how far back in time we can reverse untill we bumped into a two lane road, I guess (note the word "guess") that it all started with a one-way road where people or chariot had to squezze trough side by side when passing the other chariot.

                    Here's the main question, when did people decided the """ I go right, and you go left ! """"
