As someone pointed out, it's usually not even the immigrants that really care. I don't care-- I flew a St. George's flag last July until I realized how much they stunk, at which point I raised a tricolor (with blue, mind you). I think it's nice to be able to say Merry Christmas to people of ANY faith. It's still a time to be happy and it's still Christmastime. Same goes for Ramadan, Yom Kippur, Diwali, and anything else.
Some people just LOVE making little exclaves in places and what's really pathetic is that there are people lined up from here to New York ready to defend that it's a good thing.
