  • Doctors find spiders living in boy's ear.

This has gotta be one of the most disturbing things I've ever read...

I've had minor ear surgery before, and the topic came to weird things my doctor has seen during surgery. He told me finding dead small bugs in ears isn't that uncommon. He said they get caught in ear eax in the inner ear and make hearing difficult.

It would have been funny if it was a girl, and she was afraid of spiders.

Mommy... I got spiders in my ear, take them off. take them off.

I'm not a girl, but I'm terrified of spiders. Only creature I'm afraid of actually. Creepy little things!

The only creepy thing I hate is those Chilopoda (Centipedes)

I once got bit during a stopover, as I got off from the car, something bit me on my right foot, the itching part felt like thousand ants biting on my foot.

Anyway a few hours later my foot was numb and swollen. I thought I had to get it amputated I couldn't walk or go anywhere (and that crap part of it was it was during my vacation

As long as were talkin' about disturbing things in people's bodies - I work in the 911 system on an emergency ambulance - I've taken people to the hospital with roaches in their ears and many times have taken some of the more unfortunate people in life to the hospital who have got live maggots breeding in sores on their legs and feet. Talk about reek! It's a sad story...sorry...

                  Take care,
                  Brad

Oh my. That is disturbing. Now, whenever I end up with an earache, I'm going to irrationally think of spiders in my ears!

Well there goes any chance of enjoying breakfast.

I really hate spiders too. Sometimes we get those huge brown house spiders in my house and they scare the crap out of me. The brown recluse is most common here. What's really bad is that they like to hide in blankets and piles of clothes.

The kids in Philippines likes to play with spiders.

They had a thing with spiders, its like when it was hip to play with yoyo's the first week, two weeks later some starts to play with spiders (house spiders that is) Anyway they let the house spiders fight on a stick (Coconut leaf stick) the fight is over when the loser has been rolled around and wrapped with spider webs. lols.. Those were the times.... I think cx777 also are familiar with this.

Don't know, I don't mind the big hairy spiders like tarantulas:

and your normal house spiders with the tiny body and the long legs, but spiders like the black widow

or the house spiders with the fat body and the short legs, urgh, those creep me out.

Sometimes we get Brown Recluse spiders and Black Widows here. I've seen at least 10 Black Widows in my life here, and 3 or 4 Brown Recluse in my neighborhood alone. In fact, my neighbors had their house infested with the things!

If there ever was a good reason to burn down a house . Aren't the Brown Recluses even more poisonous than the Black Widow?
