I'm 42 credits into an Associate's Degree at the Community College of Beaver County, I'll be transferring to get a four year degree in.....something, idk what yet haha. I almost transferred for the Fall, but decided to wait and do a basic liberal arts and sciences core here at CCBC. It's not too late to transfer yet, still might... Hope to do a master's degree at some point.
I hope to fly professionally and to eventually enter the rising world of manned commercial spaceflight as a pilot. I aspire to become involved in aviation management operations, as well, leading to my own business hopefully. Early in my career, I would like to try competing for an Air National Guard pilot slot...
I still kick around medicine, but I think my heart is in the sky, among the stars! haha cheesy, cheesy!!

I guess flying around in a corporate jet might make you forget you're from Kentucky for a while.

What I would REALLY like to to (after I retire from Southwest) is be a professional travel write and photographer. Imagine getting paid to take vacations.

I want to be a pilot flying internationally. For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to be a pilot. I can not tell you how awesome it is to actually enjoy going to work. At the moment, I would rather be at work than having a day off.

Wanted to a pilot...then I realized I would prolly get frustrated, so now I switched my focus to politics. Hopefully I can run for something when I graduate in 2 years. Or if I don't maybe go for a MA or PhD.

Ya, everytime I think about getting PAID to fly, my eyes light up.

Not really sure yet. I'm into different things. I'm working on a PPL now (still have a long way to go) but I find I really do like general aviation. So I suppose if I wanted to be I pilot I might go for corporate aviation. But I also like photography and computers. I currently have a photography job and have a chance to get another on in PC repair.

In the end I'm really not sure. For now I planning on trying different things that seem interesting and see where they lead.

I find that whenever I plan things out they generally don't turn out as I expect or I get side tracked or whatever so I've decided that I'm gonna keep trying to work at things that within my interests and see where it leads.

In other words... I'm pretty much confused with no real direction in life

In the end however, I hope to find something where I'm happy to get up and go to work everyday instead of dreading going to work.

Its cool, just don't let that cloud your judgment and let yourself work for less than you deserve.

And don't become a pompous ass when you get your wings.

also very good advice. Make sure you are well rounded and can talk about something other than flying.

Tell me about it. More often than not I actually meet in person someone I think I can actually discuss flying and such with, they turn out to be...well...an asshole. For some reason or another, many of them turn out very racist as well. No clue where that comes from. Luckily thus far at Diamond Aviation, I haven't encountered such a person.

Hundreds of stories from my father from his days at United will tell you why so many people at the airlines hate the pilots. I sure hope it never goes to my head.
