Had a ride in one of these today as part of my mine driving course. What an experience, gross weight is 1,375,000 lbs which outweighs a loaded 744 by about 500,000 lbs. Our payload put in the dump box in six easy scoops was 321 TONS a little shy of the max of 380. BTW that load is roughly 200 barrels of oil. Needless to say we needed all 3369 hp to climb out of the mine!!
