So Hamas is a terrorist group that's responsible for killing what, thousands of people in terrorist attacks, but when they start swinging cats around Peta gets a bunch of sand in their panties? When you're an animal rights activist and vegetarians think you're retarded, you've really messed up.

"The episode was reportedly aimed at teaching children not to abuse animals."

Weird world we live in, eh?

Like with child abuse animal abuse hit's a raw nerve with most people, because they are helpless to the environment they find themselves in. I am happy to admit if a soldier dies say in the Iraq war I struggle to find compassion because they voluntary put themselves into that environment of danger but if I hear a case of child/animal abuse my blood boils.

Are you serious? I mean, I can kinda understand the child abuse, but are you really saying that you value the life of an animal more than that of a soldier?
Not to mention the fact that Hamas is not involved with the war in Iraq anyhow...

Of course I know a human life is worth more than an animal's generally speaking.

If I got killed in a base jumping accident I wouldent expect much sympathy because it was my decision to base jump knowing all to well there were risks involved. Unless I knew a soldier personally who got killed I don't have a lot of sympathy for them.

Abusing animals is sick because the animals cannot defend themselves.

I'm not a big fan of PETA and some of their practices, but their reasoning against torturing animals is sound.

There's a difference between a heroic WWII allied soldier and the Iraq war, I think we all know that. Fighting in Iraq is like hitting a wasp's nest with a baseball bat.

Well Israeli civilians on the bus going to work can't really defend themselves against a suicide bomber..

Nobody nowhere can defend themselves against a suicide bomber.

Both followed orders as given. Question the orders, not the ones that followed them. The men and women fighting in Iraq signed up to defend their country, and while you can debate whether the war is doing that, you can't question their intent and dedication going in.
