HOW TO make fake a Ferrari out of an Acura NSX.....

Hey Guys. I just stumbled over this.

"This is a series of photos showing you how to create a fake Ferrari out of an Acura NSX. Would you believe that ? Yes you heard right, an Acura !! No not Nakuna Matata,,, lol.. The team seem to have used a tiny toy car as the model for the whole project.."


Going from this..... Into this awesome Ferarri.. Even the logos are on this thing..

You know you have WAAAAY too much time on your hands if..... that is completely messed up. ther have to be better things to do on Saturday. i never really was a fan of Ferraris, i'm partial to the Mustang.

Damn man !! That looks tight. NSX is a sick car itself but making a Ferrari of it !! Wow. Now what was the body kit made of ? Plastic ? Or some sort of special material ? Sweet ride though !
I wish I knew how to build myself a Ferrari Testarossa from sratch for less...

Well it kinda looks like hard styrofoam to make the mold, and then coated with glassfiber.

There are pre-availible kits around for doing this stuff...nothing that has to be done custom. They did a decent job, but I'd rather have a stock NSX. Or a real F50.

A nicely done job, but really, turning an NSX into a fake Ferrari, what is the sense in that other than wanting to win some Ricer-competition? Then again, we're looking at Japanese here, so yes, it was most definitely for a Ricer-competition .

It;s one thing making the Ferrari out of a similar shaped car, but real skill would be making one outta this!

Actually it appears they used the foam to sculpt and form the look then created molds from that and the final body panles are just fiberglass.
