Well considering it has been considered one of the easiest phones of all time, someone who does not have one criticizes it and says it's hard to use.

I am 6'5" and a big person, my hands are large and I have no problem using the keyboard at all. Using it for a half hour is not enough time to give it a fair review.

CALM DOWN! what i meant was that it is SOMEWHAT hard to use for people with large fingers because the ketboard is kind of small. and yess i have seen one and played with it for about half an hour.

James- IMO it is a great phone for a person who is into cool gadgets(Apples users). it has a few things that could be better, but overall it is a great phone. everyone has a different opinion so i will let you make your own. also, i had no idea you were in the cell phone business. my bad! oh, and Tanner what is your problem. let people sy what they want to say and if you disagree don't start getting all mad just tell them KINDLY that you disagree. no need to get cranky.

Thanks for your comprehensive advice there Chris!

But.....you're talking to someone who's worked in the mobile phone industry for the last 8 years so I think i've got a pretty good idea of what's good and what isn't

Without a doubt it will sell, it's an Apple product afterall and we all know that anything Apple at the moment is something you must have.

I won't be buying one as i'll have a demo unit to play with at work everyday, so until i've used one I wont make any rash judgement on how easy or not easy it is to use.

I've already made up my personal opinion of the device as I believe it is flawed in many ways, but i aint going to let that get in the way of other people's fun or buying decisions.

well if i were you i wouldn't get it. it is overpriced and is somewhat difficult to use. it is a very cool phone but it isn't worth $500, ot whatever that is in GBP.

iPhone in the UK - 9th November

Well, we got the news at work today.....

The iphone will be available from the 9th November.

Priced at 269GBP (inc vat) for the 8gb version and it will only be available on O2 (exclusive and not available on other networks). You will have to have it on a contract starting at 35GBP a month, but this will include unlimited data and unlimited wi-fi.

It will sell in Apple stores, O2 stores and The Carphonewarehouse exclusively.

Unfortunately Apple haven't upgraded it to 3G so it will be painfully slow for mobile internet downloads, but at least with unlimited wi-fi it might ease the pain a bit.
Working...
