  • Boredom: Mileage.

Got bored and made a thread.
So how many miles does your car have on the clock?
The car I got stuck with is my parents 97 Corolla (affectionately known as "shitbucket" by me ) with just under 180,000 miles on the clock.

I think all the vehicles in the family have over 100,000, except my dads Ford Ranger. It doesnt get alot of use.

I've got 35000 miles on mine which is hugely under average for a nearly 5 year old car thanks to the previous owner who never drove it.

25500km on the small Corsa (3 years old) and close to 34000km on the Vectra (2.5 years).

My current 2003 S-10 has 90000 Miles on it.

Before that my 1998 F-150 4X4 had 108,000 Miles on it when i traded it in for the S-10.

Before the F-150 i had an 1988 Econoline 150 van that had 425,000 miles on the original engine, transmission and clutch when i sold it. The second owner still has the van and has not had any issues with it also.

All of these vehicles were purchased brand new. Yes i do a lot of driving and flying

The 2005 Vectra is currently showing 78,000 miles on the clock. It is (was, should I say) a workhorse until a month ago when the head gasket was replaced and now the engine too.

Currently at work there's six year old vehicle for sale that's done nearly 1,50000km's and she's still going strong. Can't beat a good ole' Scania V8
