I just can't fathom liking winter...I don't mind it, but you must see my point of view. I live on the east coast where winters are damp and cold...not a fun time....and it rains here....which makes it even worse.

Reasons to hate summer:
- The heat makes the buried bodies start to smell
- Fat women in bikinis
- All the shiny, sweaty people
- All the dang hot air
- Speedos
- Sweaty Undershorts
- Clouds on Weather Map replaced with Fire Symbols
- Small animals spontaneously combust in the middle of the road
- Adding sunblock to my monthly budget taps out my paycheck
- Darn sticky nogahide
- The soles of my shoes keep sticking to the pavement
- Because I really can fry an egg on my dashboard!
- I live near the equator
- If it's tourist season then why aren't we allaowed to shoot them
- No Skiing
- Third degree burns after five minutes in the sun
- It's so boring! You can't go out 'cause it's too hoot
- Tourists!! (this depends on where you live)
- It's not the heat it's the humity
- It feels a little bit hot outside
- Thunderstorms only add humidity to the heat
- Rapid-fire severe storms keep killing my modem
- The heat melted my car
Beautiful days to get explore the mountains, and places that are rather difficult to explore during the summer. Plus you get a tan much faster.
The snow gives you a good work out, and thus resulting in weight loss during the winter.
Fun driving experiences:
B-E-A-U-tiful nights.
The lakes freeze over and allow for skating. Or for those of us with messed up feet, tieing a tarp to a runner sled and go sailing
The sledding is amazing.

and yes, winter has its usual downsides, but I still take it over unbearable heat in the summer.
For one, you can go out naked in the summer and still be uncomfortable, but if you dress properly in winter, one can go outside on any reasonably cold day/night.

I agree with you about the cold. I would rather have -10 than 80. I am wierdYou've got to try to find what's right before your eyes-Finger Eleven
