They've earned it, they may do as they wish. Most, if not all, donate a lot of money to charities so who says they're not helping out. How much money is a person to give? Should they give so much that they equal out with the people working for them?

If I had that much money I would blow it all at world's fastest cars, huge a$$ house, private bizjet, brand name clothes, clubs and first class flights every week. And of course on my gf... if I had one

Yeah, same here. Except I'd fly my jet myself, and why would you limit yourself to one gf?

It's easy for people to say what they want, but chances are that all those saying "they make too much and should equilize their earnings" would also live it up if they had such high incomes.

If we were to follow those ideas of equalizing everyone, we would still have communism... now there's a reason why USSR broke up and the iron curtain fell down...

haha sometimes I'll daydream about what I'd do with all that money. Honestly can't think of too much.
1 nice car that would last a long time. Sounds stupid that with all that money all I'd want would be a black Civic Coupe or a Toyota MR-2. I know, I know, but they're decent cars that do what I want them to do.
A couple of airplanes. 1 for going around and doing maneuvers and one for traveling, probably a 6 seater twin or something.
Then maybe a nice house in a nice part of town here.
Then I'd spend wisely, so that I'd never have to work a day in my life.

Never going to make the issue simple.........wealth is gathered in many ways...including inheriting, luck, crime, jobs and money for the boys etc etc ...so many low income families may not see it all as the "supposed hard work" mentioned here.
What we are trying to discuss is greed and the unhealthy payments to some.

Pretty screwed world when we shower tens of millions on a drug crazed movie star with big tits, and tell a worker to put up with $600 a week.....oh and pay 32% tax and a GST on top of that.
And donating to charities.........well fair dinkum they bankroll wads of money per year and then expect the publicity of their generosity"....well the money comes from somewhere.......your bloody pocket, in a number of ways...including propping up an unequal tax system.
In our morning paper was an all too often prime example:

The headlines "Axed boss pockets $5.5M"

The article goes on to say with share options etc etc etc....his pay was $14M for 17 months.......and he was axed....fired, sacked...didn't do his job properly.
Yep, sacked 17 months into a 3 year $24M contract. But no doubt he will walk into another CEO job soon..........well he must do his last employer obviously thought he was worth $24M. One of our banks will up the fees by 10% and sign him on.
Is this man a prick........yes...and so is the company that he worked for. But the blame also lies with shareholders......and a system that allows it.
And the other 6 billion people in the world that have no alternative than take it on the chin.

then you'll be coming on here spouting about being a normal person like the Beckhams did in their expose last year...normal people don't have collections of Ferraris, Lambourghinis, porsches and whatever else. How many cars can you drive at any one time?

so did the Enron bosses rightfully earn their wages given the situation with the company? you can bet they were still getting paid a handsome package even when the ship was sinking.

                        Hi Asmir,

for serious discussion the offtopic corner wasn't perhaps the right place...

Edit: don't kinda like the way people resist to be serious

I would buy a nice house in Alaska, buy a truck, buy a snowmachine. I would then put the money in a bank account and continue to work
