I was just watching VH1 and they had a show about the richest Wall Street guys.

And some of them earn up to 7.8 Billion Dollars a year.Wowwwwwww

And i also noticed that they are the most meanest and rudest peopel alive.

All they do is party and buy jets,yatch's and villas.Why in the world do they need up to 40 houses.

They can use that money for much better and useful stuff.Like helping poor places in the world.

Anyone else think so.

Why? They earned it, they don't have to share. Do you have their salary correct? Seems awful high and at that tax bracket they would be paying 50% or so to the taxman.

If you believe that the government or someone else should tell people what to do with their money go live in North Korea or Cuba. This is a capitalist country where you compete and earn and keep what you can. It's obviously works because communism and socialism have failed, and the countries that have tried it have all ended up being third world with a dictator that just lines his pockets (despite their utopian ideas of everyone being economically equal) while capitalism has prevailed.

Also, I'm sure if you were one of them, you would be doing the same stuff.

Not even folks like Bill Gates or the Google Guys make 7.8 Billions in a single year. $78 millions, perhaps, but I strongly doubt anyone makes multiple billion dollars per year.

eh all power to them. There is far too many people on earth so what good is it to provide aid to poor countries? It will only result in a lower death rate and higher birth rate, the world is already overpopulated and under resourced so comprehensive aid to poor countries and a cure for aids will be the death of earth, I can guarantee it.

If any finance is going into poor countries it should be spent on population control.

I'm not blind lol,this one guys made 7.6 Billion last year on Wall Street Market.And im not blaming them for being rich just for being CHEAP Basterds.

Well there's been quite a few of these guys that haven't "earned" a lot of their money.
But if somebody does earn it honestly I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with that. Ideally they would do the right thing and donate at least a little bit of it to a worthy cause, but in the end it's their paycheck and they can spend it however they want. Not that I always agree with how they spend it.
That being said, I think it's wrong when a CEO is getting multi-million dollar raises while their employees are getting screwed out of their retirement money.

My mom used to clean 10 hours a day 8 bucks an hour when we first moved to the states and i just dont think its fair that these peopel earn million an hour and just let their imaginations run wild of what they should do with it.

I bet they have enough money to wipe their behinds with it.

But i guess now they feel mighty because ln High School they used to be the laughin stock of the school.

Hate to say it like this, but honestly, life's just not fair a majority of the time. Never has been, never will be. I've been reminded of that countless times.

And because of your mom's hard work, you will be able to make more money and have a better life. Just like many of the multi-millionaires and/or their ancestors did. I agree those that have a lot of money should help those in need, but if they want to buy yachts, houses, etc., that is their perrogative.

Who knows what economic system is right for a country or it's people...more factors involved than we can discuss here.
Communism and socialism have failed because it has always had elements of capitalism involved..... a natural human tendency.
And Capitalism of today is not true capitalism.......it is ruthless greed, manipulation and overspending.
I have no problems with wage and salary to reflect ability, knowledge, experience, motivation etc.
I have no problems with the setting up of a business to make a profit.
But for example a bank CEO earning $10M+ a year and a teller $50,000....that is blatant greed.
And of course that same CEO is not working for the employees or customers....no..... the shareholders
and while it is wrong to make assumptions, a fair percentage of those shareholders are plainly just wealth gatherers.
How to fix it..........for a start make tax scales more equatable and and close loopholes in tax evasion and minimising.
But of course we are asking the greedy to change those laws for us.
