Hi guys,

recently updated to the latest iTunes now I'm having problems , thing crashes before it even loads I've got all the latest updates , even uininstalled and re-installed the older version that worked , still no luck !

Can't update my iPod anymore and it's becoming a nusiance !

Anyone else had this problem ?

Do you use XP ? When I used XP I remember having the same pb for one of the updates. The problem was actually coming from Quicktime. Try to uninstall Itunes and all version of Quicktime you have. Then install the new Itunes.
Hope it works.

I don't have any trouble with the new I-Tunes.

Uninstalled iTunes and Quicktime , rebooted and reinstalled iTunes....
still no luck though !

It worked fine till a few days ago until I accidentally downloaded another version of their shitty bug filled product !

It won't even launch , just rants on some crap how "we had a problem" blah blah blah

You must be doing something wrong, there are never ANY faults with Apple products, it must be solely because of you using a crappy Microsoft product.

That said, I have had that problem before, and since then I have stopped updating iTunes with every little update they bring out (like 1.7.01 to 1.7.02 or stuff like that), as the changes those updates bring are rarely ever noticeable anyway.

lol it's an apple product and I've seen a fair few forums packed full with whingin Mac users while hunting for a fix

Dunno if this helps but when trying to open quicktime form the control panel

I went one step further James and re-installed windows XP

Still no joy lol
