  • This is just crazy - Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang in LA

Holy s*it. My buddy came over last night and he showed me those flipping clips. They show how MS-13 works. I've had contacts with it's members in my high school (MS13 signs in every washroom, desk etc), usually nice people to talk to but you never know. Anyway I did know it was that serious with gang wars in LA. Those clips are just crazy. The way how they control areas and stuff. Pure craziness.

MS-13 member talks about how many rivals he has killed and how the "protection" system works:

    MS-13's tattoos and signs:

    How it originated:

No crap it's scarry to live in south central in LA...

MS-13 should be labeled a terrorist organization and dealt with accordingly.

True but just like with any terrorist organization it is extremely difficult to arrest all of it's memebers and make sure that the gang or organization becomes inexistent.

Well, a start would have been if the US actually enforced immigration law, but we don't do that, so members can come and go freely as they wish. I know many were from the US to begin with, but many also come and go as they wish across the border. I remember seeing a report where they interviewed one of them, and he said he was deported several times and returned. The first step would be to isolate them in each country so they can't move around as easily. Also, as that youtube report said, prison is a "university" for these guys, so sending them to prison obviously doesn't do anything, so may be a different type of punishment might be in order. But of course most of our politicians are most interested in BS like global warming and gay marriage or getting involved in other countries problems and not hurting anyone's feelings instead actually doing anything about real problems. So nothing will be done. As long as you stay out of rough areas you should be alright. Most of them are cowards and are afraid to leave their territory or travel without their pack.

I for one wouldn't associate with gang members if I were you. Not to many good ways that can end. Unless of course you want to end up dead because some other gang decided to take them out and they saw you hanging out with them, so they thought you were part of the gang.

Well I just saw on America's Most Wanted...

A Texas Sheriff's Deputy was just released from jail for shooting at an illegal immigrant who almost ran him over and hit one of the nine illegals laying in the back of the van...he was expected to be the next elected Sheriff in the town...and can only now work a minimum wage job and barely live...

Two Border Patrol agents are sitting in jail right now for shooting a man who ran from them...they get to his car and find a million dollars worth of marijuana...the Attorney went after them and he actually gave the man immunity for testifying and lying to get the guards sent to jail. That same man also let the same man go and the guy was entering into America back and forth because that Attorney said it was ok...

          That's the problem.

            .
....totally agree....and the funny thing is, candidates in our just completed election thought it was better to cuddle babies or pretend to be interested in a workers job than confront major issues.
First and foremost politicians should be looking after the voters............law and order, education, health, employment, etc,
The biggest problem is how do we tell our politicians, law makers etc what we want.....I mean I am sure they are playing bloody games with us.
Not really a brain testing exercise to know what 95% of society want, but these twots refuse to listen....or push their own beliefs. Dickheads playing little rich games on points of law. Fair dinkum it is nothing short of torture trying to understand the decisions of these idiots.
Gangs have been on the increase here....Lebanese, Vietnamese and lately the South African gangs. For a while they just looked after their patch, but are starting to show their aggression. Wrong place at the wrong time and you will get a beating that at best, will land you in hospital for a few days.
Only recently we had a story of a lowlife enter our country on a 3 month business visa from Zimbabwe and was refused an application to join our Police Force on the basis of his belonging to Mugabe's Police Force and acts he committed.......ones he even admitted to. To cut a long story short after a few years of appeals against being deported he can now stay......reason........some dimwit idiot with a white wig says he can not be refused on the grounds that he had committed crimes against humanity.
A push, including media, started some 12 months when the South African gangs started to get very aggressive...even against kids in local parks......result...the concerned citizens and media were told to shut up or they would all face racial vilification charges......the cops knew what was coming and remained low key from the start.
The only gangs the police here now target is the supposed threat from bikies........because they are white.
You do more time for a speeding fine than putting an 80 yr old woman in hospital for a few dollars of drug money.
Not too sure in a lot of area that humanity has progressed over the last 60 years.

Maybe the arrested members of M13 should taste some of THIS sheriff's jail conditions ?

The link goes to a long videotape program.

The text sums it all up well though.

              http://www.archive.org/details/sheriffjoe

TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO
HE IS THE MARICOPA ARIZONA COUNTY SHERIFF
AND HE KEEPS GETTING ELECTED OVER AND OVER

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY: Sheriff Joe Arpaio
(In Arizona) who created the "Tent City Jail": He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.

He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights Cut off all but "G" movies.

He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.

Then He Started Chain Gangs For Women So He Wouldn't Get Sued For Discrimination.

He took away cable TV Until he found out there was A Federal Court Order that Required Cable TV For Jails So He Hooked Up The Cable TV Again Only Let In The Disney Channel And The Weather Channel.

When asked why the weather channel He Replied, So They Will Know How Hot It's Gonna Be While They Are Working ON My Chain Gangs.

He Cut Off Coffee Since It Has Zero Nutritional Value.

When the inmates complained, he told them, "This Isn't The Ritz/Carlton If You Don't Like It, Don't Come Back."

He bought Newt Gingrich's lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.

When asked by a reporter if he had any lecture series by a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place.

              More On The Arizona Sheriff:

With Temperatures Being Even Hotter Than Usual In Phoenix
(116 Degrees Just Set A New Record), the Associated Press Reports: About 2,000 Inmates Living In A Barbed-Wire-Surrounded Tent Encampment At The Maricopa County Jail Have Been Given Permission To Strip Down To Their Government-Issued Pink Boxer Shorts.

On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached
138 Degrees Inside The Week Before.

Many Were Also Swathed In Wet, Pink Towels As Sweat Collected On Their Chests And Dripped Down To Their PINK SOCKS.

"It Feels Like We Are In A Furnace," Said James Zanzot, An Inmate Who Has Lived In The TENTS for 1 year. "It's Inhumane."

Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: "It's 120 Degrees In Iraq And Our Soldiers Are Living In Tents Too, And They Have To Wear Full Battle Gear, But They Didn't Commit Any Crimes, So Shut Your Damned Mouths!"

Way To Go, Sheriff! Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until it's time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

                Brian,

I hate to tell you this but Sheriff Joe A. is perhaps one of the most crooked cops around. Being a former Phoenix, AZ Resident i can tell you first hand that the MCSO did nothing for the protection of the public. All he is interested in is getting his face on the TV as often as possible. The DUI arrest of a NASCAR driver a couple of years ago was total BS, when the DA reported 2 months after the arrest that the driver only blew a 0.05% BAC.

Sheriff Joe keeps getting reelected because he pull off his tough guy antics mostly in the fall and winter months when the snowbird population is most present. It is the Bluehair retieries living in the area in the winter that keep voting him into office as the MCSO patrols the retierment communities. When the MCSO took over for the local police dept in the city i was living in after the mayor fired to police chief, after the mayor was arrested. I could never get a deputy to respond to noise complaints, drug dealing, Etc. that was going on across the street from where i lived.

The full time residents of Maricopa County AZ hate Sherrif Joe and want to see his sorry butt gone.

Hey, if it makes you feel any better, Germany and France also have their fair share of those low-life scums coming into our countries, and over here nothing's being done about it either. When we Germans let everything go on as it is, with gangs of second-generation immigrants, who are hard-pressed to even learn the German language, running amok on the streets, robbing and stabbing etc, we're all "incompentent", yet if our government was to actually act and send their criminal a$$es back to their home country or at least into jail, the reaction is always "Well look, national socialism is still alive in Germany" or similar PC bullcrap.

Personally, I would agree with B757300, and also prefer to see the "Sheriff Joe treatment" applied to gangs, be it in the US, Germany, France or wherever, but in our overly PC world, that's not gonna happen, as sad and fvcked up as that is.

^And the worst part of it is that some of countries they come from have policies that are just as bad as stuff Nazi's did and if they behaved that way where they came from they would have probably been either killed on the spot or put in a prison and barely given any food. But Europe, America, etc feel bad and are too PC for giving them what they deserve so they just allow them to run free.

Those thugs also give a bad rap to all the immigrants that come to Europe, America, etc to become part of the society and actually make a better life for themselves instead of just behaving like savages and trying to collect as much welfare as possible like MS-13 members or whatever other gang of international thugs it may be.

One thing I'm wondering about is... are all MS-13 actually part of the "official" gang, or if there are a bunch of copies out there that just act like they are part of it but they aren't really. Like with terrorists, there is an actual Al Queda, then there are little groups of people that claim to be part of it, but don't really have a connection. If you get what I'm saying?

You got me interested in sheriff Joe because his jail regime ideas are a subject with a lot of support here in the UK. We're pi$$ed off with happy, tree hugging moderates who believe criminals have the same rights as their victims when most right minded, law abiding Brits think that a criminal loses all rights when they turn to crime.
Anyway, I did a bit more searching and while I can support the hard line attitude to crime punishment, the man himself does indeed seem to be a one man personal attention seeker. These two links may help others to see the truth of the man.

Our county just finished building it's new Hilton...I mean jail. They surely don't need the 2 or 3 LCD TV's in the area they wait in as soon as they are brought to the jail.

To the above thing about the Sheriff's arresting the Nascar driver for blowing .05 BAC. The deal is, they can arrest you at .01 BAC if they feel necessary. The sheriff didn't arrest him, one of his deputies did and he must have saw it fit to do so at the time.

                          Well, here's an interesting article

                          http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071216/...gang_makeovers

That has changed recently, after El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras adopted tough anti-gang policies, including graffiti-removal campaigns and harsh punishments for gang-related crimes. Many youths have been arrested or killed, allegedly in operations by police or citizen's groups.

"These days we can't even go out onto the street, where the police look at us and we end up dead," said Giovanni Estrada, 25, an imprisoned gang member with tattooed face who goes by the nickname of "Little Crazy." "That's why we tell (new gang members) not to paint their faces."
They let them get way out of hand down there, but at least they're doing something about it now. Here, we'll just let them get bigger and bigger and still do nothing, and the only time anything will be done is when a whole city becomes unsafe and has to be literally taken back .

Join the club the legal system has become nothing but a big joke.

On the topic of corruption at the higest level in law enforcement. The former sheriff of Buncomb county, NC was arrested this past week on several federal charges.

With bozos like this in charge of law enforcement it is no wonder that no one respects the police and the laws anymore.

Well it Phoenix it goes like this if the person has national fame and can get the sherriff on TV Nationwide "Arrest Him" in the Nascar Case.

If the person is a CEO of a Phoenix Based Worldwide Airline "US Airways" and Blows over the limit let a sober passenger drive him home.

The most ironic thing i found about Sheriff Joe was when i first moved to the Phoenix Area. It turns out a meth lab was busted in the condo right next door to the Sheriff's condo. While all of the other residents of the condo comple complained about the smell coming from the lab, Joe stated "I did not notice anything out of the ordinary"
