Aviation books - Good ones

I'm in search of some opinions. I'm looking for a good reference book on commercial operations.

I've found a publication from the UK (http://www.airlinestheglobalcollection.com/) which looks like something that is up my alley, but expensive.

What do you guys read or have.

Also have read the ads published in Airports, AirlinersWorld and Air International, all three sister publications member of the KEY Publishing company.
In addition to price, quickly expired information and lack of relevant updates due to sheer volume can be the enemies ...
I read the afore mentioned Key publications plus Airways, by standing before the newstand shelves. I buy when a given story demands me to purshase the magazine.
