Of course he could restore AirDisaster forums if he chose to do so. The fact is, he has chosen not to. His reasoning for this is not explained in the communication he has posted to you, his "customers". Rather than being honest, he has chosen to give you a half-hearted and untrue bunch of excuses. That's the reward you get for investing time and effort in his forums. Unfortunately, the site owner has a bit of a track record when it comes to not telling the truth.

He has a very good reason for closing the AD forums, he just won't be honest and tell you what it is.
