I shoot often and have a little bit of an arsenal back home. 14 or 15 long guns plus 4 handguns at last count. I'll probably get my concealed carry license this summer when I have time, though I might have to put it off another year if I get an internship this summer. My neighbor has a nice Glock 9mm she carries, but I'm thinking a Colt 1911 might be cool. I've never fired one, though, so I'll have to see how I like them. My roommates getting one soon, so I'll see if I can get out to the range with him sometime.
I assure you that I do not peddle drugs, my point was, a rifle does not become "evil" because there are drugs in the house. Gun ownership is a right, not a privilege and I agree with Mr. Thompson, we need to be VERY careful in what laws are passed in regards to gun ownership for fear of some attempting to turn it into a privilege. I'll leave it at that before we go too far off-topic. I carried a Colt.45 for a period of time, I carry a .40S&W now, larger capacity.

    Kind Regards

No, the rifle doesn't become evil. But drug trafficing is a serious crime, and I think it's a little more serious if guns are involved.

I agree that we need to protect our right, but I think when you commit a felony or a violent crime you give up that right. Just like felons lose the right to vote. Do you really want guns in the hands of people with criminal histories? I don't. And I don't have any problem with a background check because I don't plan on committing any violent crimes that would prevent me from being able to own a firearm.
