Useful Software

I'd thought that I would start a useful software thread.

I'm loving more and more Firefox. (Can't stand IE or microsoft)

- just type the first 2 letters of your URL and the most popular ones will appear. I type "a" to get my favorite www.airdisaster.com * forum sites, or "m" for www.mail.yahoo.com !!!

*: Oooooops I mean "f" for "forums.jetphotos.net"

- find text on page is much better
- history search is better
- bookmark search is better
- cache viewer is much better

For the popular sites that I visit, I got them bookmarked and tagged with a letter on them.

-Bookmark the page.
Find the bookmarked site on your bookmarks
Rightlclick on it, and scroll down to "Properties"
And under "Keyword" put "j" for jetphotos.net.

All you need to do afterwards is to type the single letter for the site.

Very useful feature indeed.

Thanks all for your contributions ! Could you please add a bit more of a description. E.g. a FLAC converter.... I've used one in the past but I forgot what it is and what I did with it

I have a filming friend who obsessed about the date on videos.

I found this nice add-on software to a video processing software and it removed most of the date all within a few hours.

The filter is intended to remove logo from films.
