  • New Fleet Type

Looks like we're adding to the fleet. Delivery is scheduled for 9/11. We should find out what type in a couple of months.

All appears well with the baby. Sonogram yesterday showed two arms and two legs. The rest of it looked like an alien. We've known about it for a couple of weeks. I'll tell you what though. Seeing those first baby pictures really drives it home!

Be warned, these type of fleet additions have a reputation for leaking fuel at unexpected times and developing odd screeching sounds at irrational times, mostly during the hours of darkness. The cause of these sounds is unknown but a known cure is the gentle laying on of hands. Tools are not required for this procedure unless they have a built-in squeak or rattle. For the fuel leaks an absorbent drip tray is recommended.

        Congratulations.

Good post Brian. I appreciate it.

Looking forward to the squeaks, leaks and groans. Just as long as in about 22 years I get free Cubs tickets to watch my kid play, it'll all be worth it. If that doesn't work out, I'll settle for tickets to NHRA events to watch him / her drive their top fuel car, or go watch him / her solo.

I'll even settle for 10 fingers and 10 toes as long as mother and baby are healthy.

And another thing to remember is that it's normally your children who choose your retirement home !!
