Retired Canadian military(Army Logistics), now employed as a Supply Chain Coordinator in charge of Investment Recovery (read surplus) for Albian Sands' Muskeg River Mine 82 km north of Fort McMurray, AB. Actually I am an employee of Shell Canada, and by extension, RDS, the majority shareholder in the facility. We mine and clean sand, producing 155,000 barrels of oil a day in the process.

To get some money for my expensive way of living,I am a manager/ planner on a small trucking company .
Before, I ve been a truckdriver as well for more then 17 years.

Nowadays ,I sent my 15 truckers on the road, to 6 different countries and try to arrange some cargo for the returntrips as well.

So, nothing in the aviation industry.

Sales Manager for stuff that weights up to 16 tons and that goes boing-boing-boing at max depths of 3000 meters below sea level.
Working in aviation? Nah, no challenges there.

I'm a live sound engineer and bassist (depending on what people pay me to do). I get to do a reasonable number of gigs abroad so I get paid to travel, which is good!

Logistics for me, however sometimes I get the impression we should be uploading here as a paid job.

I was just about to throw in the towel and work a non-aviation job until I turn 18 in July, but I thought, "Why not stay in the industy?"

Sure enough, I found a job loading and unloading DHL(Well, its actually ABXair, but thats another story) DC-9-30/40s and 767s and the occasional A300. Pay is $13.84/hour and no bennifits, other than working around -9s, which is the only bennifit I need.

They will probably hire me, I just need inform them of the times I will have to be in my summer math class for college, which I will find out tommorow, and see if that sits well with them. While part-time, it is an on-call position.

Is it for the airline or for a contract company? (feel free to PM if you don't want to post it)
