the B&Ws win my vote
Nice gallery Clovis. Are the B&Ws made with Ilford films ?
Some more of mines
Owing to heavy import duties set in the mid 60s' shortly after independance from the UK and together with those in Cyprus, roads and streets in Malta used to offer a full scale and live showcase of the British car industry spanning over decades. Not seen in Britain anymore except at collectors'rallies, many models kept hitting the roads until recently. Enjoy the drive in those REAL time machines.
getting around, a mass transit fleet member. Since the early 2000s, colors have turned to orange ...
My fav was this conversion on a 40s' Dodge truck chassis
Near the Bus & Coach terminal serving Valetta, an Austin A40 Estate (Station Wagon in British parlance) tries singling out from some 64/65 Cortina and a contemporary Mercedes E series soldiering as a cab and a more recent Mazda
A local tag
An Humber Lynx 68/69 to better represent the Roots/Chrysler Group
Flying General Motors' flag, a Vauxhall Victor 65 to 69
A 68/69 Ford Cortina keeping company to a Morris Minor Pick-up, the latter driven by my hotelier !
A Ford Popular
Close by a Ford Anglia, its successor on Ford's assembly plant at Dagenham
Still alive, albight in its twilight, this Comer van
Some of Malta's specialities : ship repair and refurbishment . Supertanker MS Gulf Atlantic waiting its turn for the dry docks
MS Gulf Atlantic showing off her proportions by dwarfing the freigher moored alongside. Adding to the decor, the church cupola in one of hundreds dotting Valetta's skyline ...

Âlways good to see more nice pics
Time to offer something from my aging portfolio....
Let's go to London where there is always something to picture
Let's summerize a self tour starting from Victoria Station on foot ...
a first stop is for little known Little Ben, which does not deserve to be cast into permanent shaddow because a bigger one gets the limelights ...
walking to the afore mentionned bigger and proportionnally more famous one !
eventually reaching the proportionally more famous one took a very long way ...
time to keep going, there still was a very long way ahead
Sign of rallye for real food lover, the French truck driver sign post
BT Tower, which used to be the tallest building for quite a few years
close-up on Lloyd's insurance HQ another one designed by Norman Foster
A last shot before entering the proper LHR terminal and proceed to checking-in
