Originally posted by screaming_emuIt will be until I am senior enough to hold a normal schedule. Right now I'm 20 people away from holding a normal schedule, but that will go to crap when people start coming over to the CR7 when we start losing the ATRs this summer. So long story short....indefinitely..

Well, I fully intended on taking pictures today while I was at work. But between the captain not getting to the plane until 15 mins before departure, and storms all over the east coast, I was kinda busy....as you can see
"Acey 4186, hold as published at SINCA"
"umm...there's a cell over SINCA"
"Ok, make an early turn if you need to"
"Riiiight"

Originally posted by ptbodaleWe get the "I've been drinking" response generally on summer weekends and as it gets later into the evening. I've heard of people being disciplined, but not dismissed. Since Management pilots are in the Union you never expect much to get done.
That seems like such a cop-out though. I mean, at any other job - that excuse is not tolerated. If I call my boss and say "Hey, I ain'ttt working this shift - screw that - I is drunk," then I get fired. Why should a union member be exempt? What other excueses come up?
My aunt is a FL for DL and she says that reserve is kinda rough (for FA's at least).Whatever is necessary, is never unwise.

Can we keep the buttsex talk in the thread that was already hijacked? I'm all for joking around, but we get it....you're gay, congratulations. You don't need to bring it up in every single thread.
And we wonder why there aren't more experienced professionals that stick around for long periods of time here.
I ran this past another member of the forum, to make sure I wasn't coming a bit over the top and his response was:
" No, it needed to be said. Before he came out he actually posted informative, well thoughut out stuff. Now he's just a whore"Last edited by screaming_emu; 2008-06-23, 07:27.

Really not many reroutes, we were actually planned and filed to head down south of the airport. But the reason its not exactly a straight line was because we needed deviation left, then right, then left, then right of course to get around some storms.
