'hybrid' cargo ships

Skysail is only an addition/support to the common source of power.

I like the idea very much and hope to see the technology spread all over the world soon.

Great idea, but not at all feesible for freighters that choose to navigate areas where wind is not predictable. Maybe we can start having 'hybrid' cargo ships where, in predictable weather - we use sails, and in unpredictable winds - us conventional (or, ever more advnatageous - newer, renewable sources of) energy.
