Cue "fascist liberals" post in 3..2...1.

Seriously, I'm ashamed that I have to share a country with dickheads like that. I wanna know who's ass they're pulling this "socialism" stuff out of. And the "A-rab" comment.... Wow.

Right, and liberals are prefect people.

You do realize there are a-holes on both sides?

So are you justifying what those people are saying?

I'm not getting worked up with people throwing the term socialism around...I think its really the "off with his head" comment that really floors me...though I can't say I'm entirely surprised.

I don't think he's justifying so much as he's showing that there's some real dipshits on both sides of the fence.

Yup, of course. My comment was more of a jab at that term which has gotten thrown around here quite a bit lately in the OTF.

              /thread

Those are the people that are the problem. 95% of the country will vote for whoever they want and move on with life. The other 5% are the vocal idiots that Emu and 757300 posted about.

How do you feel about sharing a country with, I dunno, Jesse Jackson, for example?

Um, I think it would be OBVIOUS that Jordan was referencing a certain member of these forums with his comment and not saying there aren't idiot liberals, there are.

                      Lets have a DEATH RACE!

We have the same shit up here. Me (as Dale knows) being a member of the Conservative party, people on the left compare Steven Harper (PM) to Hitler and the likes. The Liberals a long time ago planted this seed that he is "evil" and "Bush-Harper" coalition.

You see guts, Anti-Americanism up here gets people rallied up and furious. The NDP (Hippies and Socialists) even put Bush in their ads comparing Harper to him and calling him a "war monger" and "Bush's Lap Dog".

It gets really, really bag. The sad thing about it all, is that people buy it up like candy. They spew something out they heard from the News or other Party and run with it for days without even checking to see if it's accurate.

It drives me nuts because people are making decisions based upon wrong information and when choosing a leader and platform you better be well informed.

what disturbs me most (I've seen the video of this rally) was McCain's reply to this lady, he says that he's a good man but he doesn't firmly say that you shouldn't use Arabs/Muslims as a political football in this manner. The up-side is that he's only attracting people that are already voting for him, I don't know if the undecided voters would be interested in stuff like this. I don't think he's racially intolerant, its probably more that he's trying to control a campaign that is clearly failing and its catching up with him.

what undecided voter in their right mind would rock up to a rally with open hate & anger on display? There's some outside footage and some of it was beyond words.
