  • Cool things done in photoshop or gimp?

I've been learning how to use Gimp (i'm going to buy photoshop when I am good with Gimp, so I can go into it knowing how to use it, because if I don't know how to use it before buying it, it's probably going to sit on my shelf, and secondly, I need the money to buy it i know i can get it some other ways, but I prefer not having the police show up on my door

anyways, what are some cool things you have made/done in photoshop or gimp? (or any other editing program) (other than aviation photography post processing)

    Selective Coloring
    flower

tilt shift effect, it's a real train btw, not a model...

i have some other stuff, but I want to see what you all have done! I am somewhat of a noob, i just started learning these programs over the summer, i can do things such as teeth whitening, changing eye color, getting rid of pimples and crap (all very useful for pictures of myself, lol)

i just learned how to do animations like 10 seconds ago, so i am very excited about that!

what have you all done in Photoshop/Gimp/any other editing program?

i can't wait to see what you all have done!

Cool stuff Jazzy. I wish I didn't suck at selective coloring.
I used to mess around with the tilt-shift stuff too. It's a lot of fun.

I think those two are my favorites that I've done. I should get back into it though.

You open the pic in photoshop, witchcraft happens, then it looks like a toy.

Horrible, over processed and utterly unrealistic. Huge haloes around just about every edge. Poor horizon control as well.
