This is the History of House (do a search for "house" in his channel). It came out on BBC in 2001. Interesting watch the progression of music and the names that we all know today.
I love techno...not so much a fan of house but I do appreciate the likes of Marshall Jefferson & the Chicago crew for their work...but anyone coming on here and telling us that Armin & crew are house dj's needs their head examined.
there's a techno one too that delves back in to its history.
As soon as there is rythm, a sound becomes music. Let's not be closed in our minds. If you don't agree with that, then you can say that Stomp, or any african percussion, that made human beeing move before Mozart etc.. isnt music.
I do like Techno/House/Drumnbass sound, like a lot of ppl Chicago Old school house, but also all the 80's electrosound ( Neworder, Frankie knuckles ).
I like in particular Laurent Garnier and David Morales mix sets ( take me in one of those all night mix in a night, i'll be on the poduim from 00am to 6Am non stop, no drugs no alcool )
