I was up in the Marlborough sounds at my grandfathers place Up in the north of the south island, heres a rough idea

Drivign back we came past Kaikoura, known for the whales and seals, didnt see any whales, you rarely do from land but plenty of seals

Other than flying around in a 172 I haven't done much yet during the holidays, looks like I'll be flying to JFK on New Years Eve to be with the lady though. Beware, Mr. Alfono.
