This is absolutely one of the most sickening things I've ever seen. On French controlled (gotta love the Frogs) Reunion Island Dogs are being used as live bait. Please don't tell me its a cultural thing either....this is a colony of a modern country...these people are pigs and nothing more..

Care for dogs, yet mind not that you willingly consume pigs, cows, lambs, sheep and the like. Care for dogs, and mind not that you care not for humans suffering around the globe. I am not saying that the dogs need not be cared for, but there are so many other things to worry about - spend time pursuing those...Whatever is necessary, is never unwise.

Please click on the link above and sign the petition to stop this torture:

it's in french but very easy to understand, already more than 250000 have signed and I learned a few interesting stuff about it.
- It's clearly forbidden by french law to do this and you risk up to 3 years in jail.
- it's a huge scandal in France (metropolitan) and people and politics are putting it in the medias to try to prevent it.
- they don't raise dogs for it but catch errant dogs (more than 150000 in Reunion Island and a big problem as many of them are attacking people). It's clearly not an excuse but just to let you know.
- It's been a tradition in Reunion Islands to do this for years, again not an excuse but locals don't always see it they way we do.
As always it's so sad to see people treating animals this way, it's a sick world but we already knew it...
