So you were there? You saw what happened? You were a witness? Nice of you to come forward 40 years later.
No I wasn't there but I read the accident reports...perhaps you should. Its no secret Ted liked the bottle. Do you recall the death on the Kennedy compound down in Florida some years back...oh loads of stuff about Ted came out then.

How did the family abuse their power?
How do you think Ted didn't get anytime for the accident that took Mary Jo's life? He committed a felony by leaving the scene of a deadly accident and not reporting it...that alone if it was you or I we'd be behind bars. BTW Uncle Joey was nothing more then common criminal the likes of Al Capone. The Kennedy family was the largest rum runners in New England in the 20s. They built their power base on history of crime.

They won't reflect on GWB well because he didn't do a good job. Isn't that why we have a Democrat President and Congress right now? Don't most people agree that he was somewhat "lackluster"?
I thought that would be your answer....

I assume you know Bush couldn't run again but I'm guessing your think because of his job performance that lead to the GOP losing? Not at all. Obama won because he's a good suit and talks a good talk. The GOP could have done a better job with who they put up there..for the life of me why they supported McCain was beyond me.

However last Nov this country was in desperate shape and he was voted in purely on people's fear. He's already lost the Independents, moderate Dems, and the Republicans who voted for him. I voted for him but regret my vote tremendously. His policies are taking this country in the wrong direction and I hope that his health care plan fails as whatever political capital Obama had will be spent and he can ride out his last three years not doing a damn thing. This country always has been right of center and that's not going to change.

Oh and no I'm not highly religious at all but Ted was and he believed in Catholicism and in the Catholic religion he has to answer for his misgivings. Oh wait...I'm sure Joe Kennedy somehow bought off God too.

How did the family abuse their power? Who said he was a saint? What did he do that says we need term limits? Don't we already have term limits in the voter's booth?

So spare me the righteous soapbox crap...not everyone that sits in Gov't is perfect.

The fact that you're holding a grudge over something that happened 40 years ago that you had absolutely no involvement with says more about you than it does Ted Kennedy.

And exactly what have you done for this country that can parallel to what Mr. Kennedy has done? Tom, you are simply as insignificant as your insults.

Yes notice the intense sarcasm...the man was a pig and disgrace to this nation. He's a shinning example of why we need term limits.
Nice spelling and composition. Perhaps reflective of your intellect and compassion for your fellow human. There are better ways to express yourself, but I doubt you would comprehend that philosophy.
