  • Al Gore and Obama is Linea (destroyer of worlds).

My title is a serious but comical analogous reference to Stargate of a mad scientist supposedly under the guise of good repeatedly achieves evil and destroys societies/worlds.

This is what happens when politicians hijack science to advance their fascist agenda without real thought to the moral or scientific implications of their policies. The liberals are using pseudoscience much like the Nazis did; hatemongering to strengthen their political and financial cause under the guise of doing good; while exploiting the people and the environment for their own personal greed.

It’s amazing how the cultist sheep that follow the global warming hysteria; hail Al Gore and Obama as having much foresight into global warming. Yet the truth of the matter Al Gore and Obama are not climatologists; their knowledge on the matter is very limited; like that of a child. Many of their policies are counterproductive.

Thanks to liberal fascism we are sending much of our manufacturing and jobs overseas under the guise of saving the environment; yet often these manufacturing jobs and up in places where there is less environmental regulation; so in the end the policies of liberal fascism is increasing pollution and the damage done to the environment, and it’s also wrecking our economy and contributing to sweatshop labor (unsafe horrible working conditions for low wages. Exploiting foreigners.).

Royal Society Report Warns Climate Engineering 'Could Cause Disaster'
Giant engineering schemes to reflect sunlight or suck carbon dioxide from the air could be the only way to save the Earth from runaway global warming, according to a group of leading scientists. But they say that these schemes could have their own catastrophic consequences, such as disrupting rainfall patterns, and should be deployed only as a last resort if attempts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions fail.

Report: Eco-Friendly Coolant Causing Refrigerators to Explode

A wave of violent refrigerator explosions in Britain reportedly is believed to have been caused by an attempt to make the machines more "green."

Fluorescent Light Bulbs Can Become 'Toxic Time Bombs'

Highly efficient fluorescent light bulbs are widely touted as environmentally friendly, but they have created a recycling headache for the Environmental Protection Agency and local governments.

More often than not, their toxic ingredients simply end up in landfills, where the chemicals can leach into soil and water and poison fish and other wildlife

Mercury in Fluorescent Light Bulbs Poisons Factory Workers

According to a recent study by the Chinese health ministry, however, mercury exposure is widespread among the workers making these bulbs. At one factory in Jinzhou, 121 of 123 employees contained a dangerous body burden of mercury, with one worker carrying 150 times the government-mandated threshold. At a factory in Anyang, 35 percent of workers had suffered from mercury poisoning and the plant was dumping mercury directly into the local water supply.

Chinese Mayor Apologizes for Lead Poisoning That Sickened 600 Kids

CHANGQING, China — A mayor apologized to residents of two Chinese villages where more than 600 children were sickened by lead poisoning, saying a nearby smelter targeted by angry protests would not reopen until it meets health standards, state media said Tuesday.

Obama/Joe Biden "No Coal Plants Here in America"

ATFS Crash, the theme of your argument is that OBAMA/Biden is responsible for a number of the problems shown by the links in your message. I'm struggling to understand how it is that these two polliticians are responsible for poor environmental practices in China. Both lead and mercury are not solely required for 'green' technologies, so that's just crazy to put those link those two incidents with a political cause.

How is it that you can castigate Obama and Biden for not being climatologists (presumably) without being a climatologist yourself? Surely, by your logic, you are no better qualified to judge than he is? Besides, you do not need to be a boffin to run or lead an organisation - you employ or seek information from qualified individuals - no man can know everything - this is how the world works. The fact that I have only a passing mechanical knowledge did not prevent me from buying a car as I know there are experts out there (mechanics) who can advise me on how to keep it in good shape and fix it if something goes wrong.

In the case of global warming, the overwhelming majority of scientists believe it is occurring, some disagree it is due to the actions of man, but the majority do believe that it is the influence of man that is either creating or accellerating the rate of change (fact). Given that the preponderance of scientists are on the global warming side of the equasion and the outcome if they are right has very serious implications for the world (you know, that place we only have one of - with so far no where else to go) I'd say it's taking the safe bet in trying to minimise man's contribution to global warming. Or we can just bet (the world) against the odds that the majority of the boffins are wrong...

It's not as though Obama is on his own on this issue - most of the EU and developed world believe in man's contribution to global warming. If he was the only world leader taking a contrarian stance against scientific evidence (eg South Africa's president and his ideas on AIDS) then it would be much easier to dismiss the Obama/Biden position, but they are not.

Nazis mentioned in 2nd paragraph, automatically losing you this argument.

Then there is having your only source be fox news. Each source also had the words "could" "can" or "believed to be" right before the alleged "proof".

      FAIL

You know, the holocaust wasn't the only bad/stupid thing the Nazi party in Germany ever did.

In the years leading up to the party's ultimate crescendo, it put a lot of programs and policies in place which are frighteningly similar to what's going on in Washington right now.

I don't like the government having unfettered "emergency control of the internet." I don't like the government appointing a "fairness czar" to the FCC to regulate what's "fair" and what's not on the radio and TV. I don't like the government putting forth suggestions that all boys in this country need to undergo compulsory circumcisions to "reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS" (yeah, sure).

I don't think anyone is comparing the Obama administration to the Nazis in terms of mass genocide and the other atrocities of the holocaust. But to automatically dismiss an argument just because someone mentions the word shows quite a bit of closed-mindedness on your part.

You read that far? I zoned out once I read "fascist".

Matter of fact, I'm surprised he used that word within his first sentence .

There's a reason why the Nazi gov't was called the National Socialist party.

I nearly switched off when ATFS yet again mentioned fascism.....yet again !!
But I got as far as the "Wave of refrigerator explosions" bit which frankly had me nearly peeing myself with laughter.

The Fox News link mentioned 5 explosions...it also mentioned that there are >300,000,000 ( three hundred million ) of these fridges in the world. That comes out as a 1 in 60,000,000 ( ONE in Sixty million !! ) chance of your eco fridge blowing up. One incident was reportedly nothing to do with the fridge anyway so that makes it a One in Seventyfive million chance.

A WAVE of explosions !! More like the slight ripple caused by a pea dropping in the middle of the Pacific.

I wonder how many cars, one of which I assume you drive ATFS, caught fire and exploded worldwide in the last 24 hours ?

Bloody hell man, if you're going to quote statistics, at least make them worthwhile ones.

In the meantime...I think you need some psychiatric help.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !

You opened the links? Wow. I took one look at the source and the headings then sat there trying to work out how Obama is to blame for lead poisoning in China! You know, just between you and me, I think Obama is also resonsible for the salinity problem in the Murray river, the spread of Cane Toads here in Australia, the fact that the Aussie contestant bombed out in the latest Miss World comp, and me spilling my milk this morning as I poured it on my cereal.

I don't like that crap either. Yet similar things seemed to be ok when they fell under the patriot act.

I'm hardly closed minded. I'm one of the first to admit that both parties have their strong and weak points. But you telling me that I should listen ATFS Crash is like me giving you a copy of Fahrenheit 9/11 insisting you could learn something.

It's actually pretty scary just how true that is. It's also cheaper to have things manufactured and disposed of overseas in third world countries because we /don't/ have to foot the bill for environmental and safety regulations. I mean, look at computer components for example; they contain some of the most toxic materials on earth, yet they're thrown in landfills all over the developing world where people melt them down over open fires with no respiratory[or otherwise] protection just to extract the precious metals so they can be resold and re-manufactured.

And really, it doesn't even end there. We douse practically everything we own with brominated fire retardants. Bromine, being an element that is incredibly toxic to the human body and can cause damage to your liver, thyroid, and even neurological development in infants and children. And we cover their clothing and bedding with it. And already our bodies now contain traces of bromines from birth; they're in breast milk, in the food that we eat, on practically every surface we're in contact with, and out in the natural environment.

Not to mention that we've consumed nearly 3/4 of the planet's natural resources.

I think it's hilarious how ATFS claims Democrats are trying to "hijack science" the way the nazis did and then posts links to nothing but Fox News articles, the biggest republican brainwashing machine there is.

By leading scientists? Oh then it's got to be true!

No, no, no, no, no, no!

I was never a supporter of the Patriot Act. There were lots (and LOTS) of areas where I disagreed with the Bush administration wholeheartedly.

I have no allegiance to any "party." I want the government as far away from our lives, and its greedy, wasteful, incompetent little hands as far away from my cookie jar, as possible. Period.
