...that may be, but I bet it will be impossible to prove, unless TISGPOTM decides to let us know.

            Okay, I'll start.

Tales of derring-do in the Great Lakes.
I flew into IAD over the weekend in an SK A330. Without getting into a dissertation of cheap plastic composites I will mention that SAS provides novel forward and downward-looking cameras as part of the inflight entertainment package. As 19L loomed in the distance I could see airspeed and altitude information by looking at the screen in the row ahead of me between the coach seats. As the altitude and speed continued to decrease I pondered the awsome responsibilities of those in the left seats. Computer equipment aside, the Pilot in Command has the ultimate responsibility of lining lining up his lumbering aircraft through the crosswinds and positioning his main landing gear inches above the threshold at just the right speed to allow the flare to settle the plane onto the runway.

I salute you, Captain. We are all the poorer for your absence.

Oh come on...how many times have us MSFS junkies explained that any dummy can click the mouse on...err...I mean punch the buttons marked "Approach" and "Autothrottles" and "Autoland"

                ESPECAILLY on an Air Bus!

Which brings us to new variations of an old question:

Can a dummy land an Air Bus?

                Or perhaps

Would anybody BUT a dummy be willing to land an Air Bus?

People, think before speaking please, making bold statements like that is always best acompanied by a disclaimer just to clear things up and clarify that we are talking purely personal opinion here !!!

                                Maybe something like this, ok?
