I have never been there myself, but I was engaged to a Korean girl who's father was from North Korea. I also worked with a man from there. They never uttered one positive word about the place.

I went to Seoul though, which is about 40 miles away. That's a great city.

I have a cloose friend who is from Seoul and from what she say's, N. Korea is a bad place to go. She tells everyone she knows not to go there!

My little brother spent a year patrolling the DMZ with the US Army. He says North Korea looks like the most god-forsaken place on earth, and he spoke to defectors who confirm this.

That said, Kim Jong-Il has one bitchin' haircut.
