I'm BACK! I have installed Windows XP Pro - none of this Home malarky for me thankyou!
Its not a Geforce (pah, amateurs), its a Radeon I actually have no clue about graphics cards, but mine is OBVIOUSLY the best :P But IT has no drivers, so them i must find! Ho Hum.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete
DOwnloaded the ATI driver pack. Ran it. It says it can't install the drivers unless there are some drivers already installed. But i can't install drivers because their aren't... eh?!
And its been going for 10 hours and has not even got half way copying all my stuff over the network off the old machine!

A what? Impressive for a female....I have no idea what that means....I just know how to use a computer not determining what a 2.8 ghz or whatever thank you very much.
If you can't think of anything else, try installing the standard VGA graphics adapter drivers first. Your desktop needs to be at 640X480 and 16 colours. Once you have installed the VGA driver you can, if I remember correctly, install the ATI drivers.
Once they are installed, you can change the resolution, colour depth and refresh rate. I think... -Pepe-
