I don't have a problem when someone corrects my grammer, as long as it's done in a nice way. I also like the humor in this thread because I live here in San Francisco. I do not live in the Castro. I live on Snob Hill, I mean I live on Nob Hill and I like my boxer shorts! Thank You!

What about the people in Rhode Island who call a drinking fountain "bubla" ? The last time I was at PVD I didn't see a sign for the "bubla".............

Speaking of San Fran, if your down in Castro you may be wearing ONLY your underwear.

    I couldn't care less

Come on, how silly...it should be
I am wearing no white underwear.
...and the way to write it in San Francisco is

    I am wearing _______ underwear.
    I could care less.

    Well...there's still ONE MORE mistake!

"I am wearing ___ white underwear"

Maybe I'm wrong because my english is not my first language! LOL

I'm piecing together the English exam for my grade 12 students as we speak. After that, I get to make up the Grade 11 exam.

Then in two weeks we get a two week fall break. Unfortunaltely most of that time will go into correcting exams.

Making up exams is fun, correcting them sucks bigtime!

When y'all gonna quit worryin' bout us?

In the mean time, I'll sit on the porch in my wifebeater picking my teeth with a knife and takin' potshots at liberals and foreigners with my shot gun.

    Any questions?

Indian airlines, you've summed it up perfectly! I've tried switching to the international standards countless times. Once, on an essay, I spelled color as colour about 9-10 times. The teacher took off two points per 'spelling mistake', which brought me down to an 80. I have also tried writing dates the proper way too...as in 7.11.2003 would November 7 2003 instead of July 11 2003. However, I found the teachers wondering why I wrote July 11th on all my papers, so I just stopped doing that. My math teacher really thought I couldn't put dates properly on my paper...

    Sounds fair to me!
