Many music fans would like to remove Nickelback songs from their lives.

But one man has worked out how to do that on the internet, NME.com reports.

Music blog Aux.com has launched a free internet plugin called 'Nickelblock' that removes all trace of Chad Kroeger and his Canadian band mates during web surfing sessions.

The website said it was launching Nickelblock to help internet browsers avoid all references to the band's new album Here and Now.

"Once installed, Nickelblock will eliminate all mention of Alberta's finest swamp heshers from your web browser. That's it. You'll never read about Nickelback again," it said.
    How awesome is that!
