Jon Lord passed away

Some of us here may remember Jon Lord, Deep Purple's famous keyboarder. It fills me with sadness to read about his passing:

He sure had a great influence in music. His Hammond sound, his virtous playing with so different styles and his overall musical work will not be forgotten.

On top of my Jon Lord memories is the awesone job he did on the Deep Purple classic, "Child In Time". Along with Ian Gillian's great vocals and Richie Blackmore's famous guitar solo, a song which sticks in my brain for days!
