Joking around with graffiti on trains.
Not that long ago Arriva won the rights to operate a local railway line in the Netherlands, beating the NS who operated the line before. A few days ago their new rolling stock was delivered. They are going to be introduced into service December 9th.
Arriva designed a new livery specifically for this line... and boy are they proud of it! So you can imagine their surprise when they arrived in the morning to find one of their new trains had been spray painted in full NS livery!
A good joke if you ask me, but a costly one: the cost to remove the graffiti is estimated at 40.000 euro.
