While I'm not thrilled about this design it's certainly much better then two hallow steel structures gracing the city's skyline. They should have built a tower that would make the claim as the world's tallest building.

I'm real disappointed that they didn't choose to build the world's tallest building. I agree with Tommy Alf. Those hollow steel structures looked terrible. This proposal's OK. I hope to visit it once it's built.

At least it's better than the older design...which simply is just 2 1000 ft. towers of glass

The tower will be the tallest building. At 1,776 ft. it is about 300 ft. taller than the Petronas towers in Malaysia which are currently the world's taallest building.
