what's the most idiotic complaint you ever heard ??

I work as a waiter at a hotel, and the most idiotic i ever heard was :
Guest : this fish is too juicy, there's loads of milky juice coming out of it !!

I said, that's because it was was alive 5 hours ago, Sir !!!:lol:

I was serving dinner at the Church turkey supper 3 weeks ago and this rather large man said to me (after he had two full plates of everything plus two pices of pie). "The potatoes and the gravy were cold. I want my money back".

I smiled and said "There are no refunds Sir, you should have mentioned it before you ate everything." (Dinner was a buffet style $12 per person).

He said "I'm telling you now and I want my money back."

I leaned over and whispered in his ear "Piss off".

I know that wasn't nice (I'm the Chair of the Property and Finance Board) and I know I was un-Chrisitan, but I felt better. At least I smiled.

Having working in retail for most of my working life, I'd get all sorts of complaints. Some of them would definitely qualify as idiotic; customer complaining about the price of an item was very common. Sometimes they would say "I can get this item @ XYZ for twenty-five cents less." I always had to keep myself from saying to them, "Why don't you go there and get it there instead so you can save a quarter you cheapskate!" Or even better would be people complaining that we didn't have the advertised specials in our department. They'd hand me the store's ad and it would be the previous week's ad. Now I got a lot of idiotic complaints in my old position in my current employer. Customers would complain and get mad because the shops we stocked did not have a title they wanted. 250+ magazine titles, and they want some obscure magazine that we don't even carry at all (not even in our warehouse). Or they're looking for a magazine that went offsale a few weeks or even months ago. Like we carry an archive of back issues on our trucks, or we leave back issues in the stores. Where do these people think they're at, Barnes and Noble? I am so glad that I am working in our warehouse now, because I don't have to deal with idiots.
