Though not the most expensive item I ever have bought, the most unplanned and extravagent purchase of my life had to be a Rolex watch I bought one afternoon in Basel. That was '86, I had different tastes, and it spends most of its time in the Safety Deposit Box due to its value, which has appreciated conserably over the years.

My computer. Dropping a over thousand dollars at one time for something that is not a car is splurging. Honorable mentions go to my digital camera and my MP-3 player.

my most extravagent purchase of my own I would have to say was my Dirt Bike. 2003 Yamaha YZ450F. Good times!!!
I hope I die like my gradfather, peacefuly in his sleep. Not like his passengers screaming in horror.

IF my house burned down to the ground, and everything just charred, I would cry even if everyone got out OK. I have so much stuff here, its not funny....

                  1. My aviator's jacket (looks like a pilot's jacket). I got it when I was 3 years old, and I still have it. Oh, and throw in all the shirts we have of mine from before 1993.

                  2. My camera. A Nikon N65. May not be a really "Pro" camera, but it's teh first relativly expensive thing that I really worked for. Just don't mention that I only paid for half of it....

                  3. My Airline memorabilia. I have a bag full of airline timetables, cards, badges, etc. And a shelf full of airline magazines (earliest one being 1984, which is 4 years OLDER than me...) And my Delta/KLM/"International Airlines" airplane playsets. Throw in my pound of brochures/metro tickets i carted back from Europe.

                  4. My watch. It's not too expensive, but damn, does it carry a lot of luck!

                  5. All the pictures we have in my house. We have pictures of my 50 yr old dad from 1955.....and of me when i was just born and so muc more like that...

My iBook G3 with the 900 MHZ processor. Dropping 1 grand right there after adding shipping and all that crap.

My iPod. The best music device since the vinyl record!

                      Thats about it.

                        Boat
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Probably my leg pads for hockey. Were about 950$ when I bought them new. Here they are:

Those were an entire summer's worth of work.

My education. I didn't even pay for all of it, and I still owe $14,000-$15,000.

After that, my car. '98 Toyota Camry for $5900 which came to $6355 with taxes and fees and stuff. But at least that is paid for.
