First.. THANKS GREG and Kevin Cook for making all this come togther so well! I had a blast! I have a new respect for IAD and the Air & Space Museum!
Here are about 21 pics that hopefully give you the vicarious experience of the Meet Up! ENJOY!
After a short 3 hour drive from LYH I arrived at IAD! Here I am waiting in line to let them rob me blind so i could park my car..

I arrived.. went through Security. And after getting my camera back from the security check.. i look up and who do i see? GREG! We chatted for a bit. Here he is showin off his goods in his new Canon Camera Bag!
We waited for like 20 minutes for Kevin Cook.. Where was he!? Well.. we went directly over to AF Concorde.. So much for saving the best for last!
At the south end of the hanger is the Museum restrurant. Hole in teh wall place. Here you can see the Hard Workin staff preparing for a BUSY DAY!
After walking around with Greg, his dad and his friends.. i was kind of scared that maybe Kevin had arrived and was walkin around by himself.. unable to meet his fellow jp.net members. So, I went to the informatoin desk and these two nice old chaps came to help send out a page for "Kevin Cook"
While we waited for Kevin.. greg and I decided a photo op with the SR-71 would be nice! Gregs Checkin the Black Bird out!
Mikecweb.. this ones for you. I know you like pics of badass jet engines! :P Taken from the Boeing 707:
Picture of a junior jp.net photographer!
Before we made our way to the "tower" we stopped by the Shuttle enterprise. I wasnt going to push my way to the front, I am pleased how this one turned out.. just a lot of people trying to get a view of this massive machine! Who is that old lady?
Greg and Kevin chillin my the big Wall Mural
Once we got up to the Observation tower.. we spent a LONG time up there. Every minute was fantastic.. the view from up there was worth the drive alone. Here you can see the long line of people waiting to get into the museum! Damn.. thats long line!
This was the most Fantastic plane I saw all day.. Nearly cried when i saw it!
Man.. Kevin was a live wire up in the tower.. here Kevin is jumping up from his seat on the ground while Gregs Father looks on!
I'll tell you what. Greg has a fabulous camera. Gregs Checkin out the results from the last plane to come in!
After Greg left.. a lot of awesome planes came into land.. Here.. a UA 777 drifts down behind the trees to runway 1R
The famous "OldSkul" license plate of a beamer 325 (i think)
the Hood ornament off the other BMW we saw.. Can't go wrong with BMW's my friend!
The museum. In this pic you see the Statue, Tower, and Hanger!
Last pic.. This wasnt good enough for jp.net.. heck most of mine wernt! LOL CO Express ERJ-145 comes down over the trees for a 1R touchdown. I've already seen enough of these in DAB!
To see my jp.net pics from our IAD trip.. simply hit the Click Here link below. I got 4 more "awesome shots" added to the data base!
Greg and Kevin.. Thanks again so much guys for coming to this. I am thrilled we finally got to do this! We will definatly have to do it again in BWI and DCA! Hopefully next time I will have my new DSLR... thats currently in the works.. Thanks again!
Any comments are welcome and STRONGLY encouraged! I want every jp.net member to see this thread!
Thanks again!
Adam
