Taken on board one of our Casual Sailing boats! Feel the Wind Yes, that IS a beach ahead, and yes, the boat WAS doing about 25 knots straight on to it! The reason? Much lightning behind!

That's a nice picture Jess.
What were you guys doing sailing in such stormy weather? (It looks stormy in the picture)"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

I wasn't actually on board! They had left Camber sands and spent 6 hours sailing upwind towards Eastbourne, only to get hit by a gale as they passed Brighton. Had to turn and run all the way back to Camber!I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Yep, lots of duct tape round all the sharp fittings on the front of the mast! It's so the spinnaker doesn't get snagged and rip as its pulled over from side to side when gybing!I walked across an empty land
