Do you need Security clearence?

Do you need security clearence to enter Boeing's factoriers and Lockeed Martin's Factories? I am asking because my bro is going to do aerospace/aeronautical engineering and he was wondering if he needs security clearence to enter the factories even if he works there. Can some one tell me the details?

Depending on what projects he works on, yes. If you are talking about an SBI or TSC. But let me put it another way. He won't work there if he can't get a clearance. Getting an SBI can cost close to $100k. If he has "skeletons" they will find them.
