Yes i have noticed that too(the a.net threads here). But there are only a certian amount of good aviation Related threads that you can post up. So the threads look similar(JP.net and A.net). Over here, some threads are really childish. No offense to those people who post them. Like today i saw in the aviation forum, a thread "wierd picture contest". Thats something that belongs in the off topic forum. Like i said before in the site-related forum, we need more professinal threads here. For example if some one wants to know about 'Dead' Reckoning. he/she posts that up in the aviation related forum. Thats a professinal thread. Because it actually has something to do with aviation.

I'm in that boat too. I used to be on A.net quite a bit but I barely go over there anymore. So if a topic gets recycled, I won't know!

Recycled Airliners.net topics..
It's not just the moderators, it's he visitors too. It takes one "wrong" post for them to start comments from the style of "A vs B war", "I hate NW DC9s/DL 732s" "YUL sucks" "YYZ sucks" "MSY sucks" etc. Plus, topics tend to repeat too often (Daily NW DC9, DL 732, UA New colors...), at a higher rate than those here (US 170s, new CHS service...). Personally, I think if a topic is interesting, like new routes/orders/airlines etc being announced, it's ok to copy them here, but not something in the way of "What plane do you want to fly" and such.
