    Any Accountants Here? Tax Question.

    Isn't Social Security Tax Withheld supposed to be automatically deducted from your pay? My wife is a teacher and her W-2 shows no Social Security Tax Withheld and my tax software now shows we owe a huge amount! Please help!

        Good to hear.. that'd explain why they're not withholding this from my wife's paychecks Never heard of this before..
