  • Do you think i should leave JP?

    Hey all,

Seems like my last post didnt go very well.

Just telling you all for some reason, that i am leaving JP's forums. because of it, i feel that you are all better photographers than me and i do nothing but cause trouble.

Also seems like PolishAir42 wont want me here much longer after that post.

Tell me if you think i personally think i should go...

    Thanks,

    Joe,

    Joe,

No one has any problem with your being here. I'm sure many others would agree with me when I say that you've made some fine contributions to this forum.

What Peter was saying in his post to you is that it's important to remember that you're a member of a large community here, where many of the participants are older and more knowledgable than yourself. That's not a knock, it's just the truth.

We expect a certain level of maturity from all posters here, yourself included. What Peter was saying is that if you can't handle that, there are probably other more appropriate places for you to post.

It could have been phrased a little more diplomatically on Peter's part. When an attitude that everyone must fall into military strictness you might as well change your name to Johan and Hepkat. My views.

Joe, your post are NOT rubbish. In fact I have seen a lot worse in real life and not a message board. There are message boards to let loose, so to speak. This one MAY not be one of them.

          No harm done really!

At least you are not like this guy

Hey, things can't be that bad.

You're post is not rubbish. Eventhough one or two may think so, but the rest of us here thinks the post has its importance.

            So don't leave!

                Joe,

Im not mad at anyone here. All that I was infering was that we do need to keep this civilized (at least a bit hehe.) I am saying that we do need to respect the well older and more established photographers. Im POSITIVE that if you listen to them your work will improve greatly.

                  Joe,
Personally I dislike that type of question... "Should I go?". It seems to be a plea for "No, please don't go.." posts, in a bid for some type of popularity. If you think you should, then just do it, maybe the others are right...there are other places for you to play that game.

What significance does the number of posts a person has have to do with anything? Seems like those with the most posts might just need more of a life....... Respect is earned in ways other then having the most posts.

Turn that time and energy into your photography instead.

                  Just my opinion, nothing more..

                  Jeff

I am not pleaing for you to make me stay i am asking the simple question.

                    Should i go?

if you think i should then PLEASE say so.

Also no it dosnt matter about the amount of posts you have but it was just a kind of race thing me and greg made up.

                    play what game?

And i dont want popularity i just want to be able to post my opinions on things, but in a better way than my last post.

                    Thanks,

                    Joe,

                      Hi,
In my opinion its totally up to you if you want to leave but I think its a bit stupid leaving over a minor dispute?

                      Thanks
