some of these people, until they've stared down the barrel of a loaded gun will never understand that there are some things in this world that are more important than their portfolio value on the stock exchange. (that is what Hong Kong is all about aint it??)

first of all I pray god that the fighting stops with Iraq. Maybe N. Korea will take note, and cease their provocative actions, after N. Korea, if it is necessary, then hopefully ALL potential aggressors will take not. keep in mind, sir, that North Korea is testing weapons that can strike the american mainland with Nuclear weapons, and just as we did with the Soviet Union we shall take that threat VERY seriously. weapons of this nature, as I stated earlier in this thread, are good for only ONE purpose, and that is the devastation of civilian lives. and any army that intentionally makes war on innocent civilians is one that needs to be destroyed.

Isn't the army of USA making war on innocent civilians?

No we are not. we have a very explicit mission: to eject the current government of a nation which threatens their own people, and their neighbors for their own personal gain. and just as we carried out our mission in 1991, and contrary to the wishes of many americans (as many believed we should have gotten rid of Saddam then). we will stop when that mission is accomplished.

Well... won't innocent civilians die in the bargain. After all, your bombs aren't selectively picking out members of Saddam's regime, are they?

they may hit civilians, but that is not the same as intentionally selecting a group of women and children, and gassing them, or invading countries because you want their wealth or resources..

The bottom line is: innocent civilians are dying.

Hopefully Kin Jong Il isn't as stupid as I perceive him to be. If he tried pulling any stunts at this time, the world will come down on him like a 10-ton brick. Well, probably many 2-ton bombs

                        BTW:

-In Afghanistan, 5000+ innocents died as a result of misfire.

-In the first gulf war 1.5 million people died as a result of the war, this being as a result of misfire and humanitarian problems immediately following the war.

-We must take this into consideration. These are human beings, innocent people. Though we can use the pretext that we are trying to improve their lives, what good is that if so many are killed? We must consider this. We are all people regardless of race, faith, ideology etc....
There are no wars without side-effects.

                        Peace.

                        Richard

The target in Afghanistan was to catch Osama bin Laden. Results: 5,000+ civilians dead, and Osama's still up and running.

The target in Iraq is to extinct Saddam and his family. And the results: You wont' catch him, like you did not get Osama. But again thousands of innocent civilians will bite the dust, and their country will be destroyed.

That's war the 'American style', i.e. to guarantee freedom and security for the homeland.

                          Regards,
                          Peter

In regards to the post made by indian airlines about my not going to fight for America. I am 14 years old. You would not be able to imagine how fast I would join the Military if I was aged enough. That is something I was brought up on, you fight for your country when she needs it, to protect the safety and freedom of her citizens, and if in fact involves me dying, so be it, I would rather dy fight for my country, than any other way. Something you wouldn't no anything about, because your sorry half ass countries are to pussy to go to war, your expect the UN to kiss ass, and do everything.

And you know what, where gonna own Iraq shortly, Saddam and his crew have no idea what their doing, WHERE GONNA OWN HIM!

If it involves people dying, they had their chance to get out, the people that stay and support Saddam, better get those rocks ready, there gonna have a bullet in the head later on
