Does anyone know of any good photo printers out there? Especially from HP. I am starting too look into one to replace my deskjet 960C and i want one that is designed to print good quality photos and would be a big improvement over what I have now. I don't want to waste mony on anything that would be only margionally better. Any help would be appretiated.

We have an Epson photo printer, not sure of the model, but I also have an Epson Stylus C84. It really does great pictures, and it was under $100

I use a Canon s9000, 13"x19", and an hp 970cse. There is a new model of the Canon printer called the i9001. 13"x19" borderless prints for less then $600. If you can find an s9000, they are well below $400 now.

I don't like the HP's output anywhere near as much as the Canon, and they drink ink like the Epsons. I had two Epsons's that both were returned due to banding problems also. Not something you want with a $600 printer.

I had the same probelm with my old Epson printer. I actually do not have a Photo Printer- I have a regular printer- a HP Deskjet 940c. Works good with pictures. A little slow though...actually, very slow.
